EU Life Laser Fence project: French vineyards visit – Bordeaux
Sibylle Giraud, Sales Manager at Bird Control Group visited different vineyards and spoke to different wine producer associations in Bordeaux, France. Together with French firm specializing in as-sessment for Fauna and Flora, they discussed specific problematic areas around Bordeaux, as some of the damage to vineyards can be very extensive in terms of the loss. Deer and wild boars are the main problems, many other devices have been unsuccessfully used and different actors in that area would be very interested to see the results of the EU Life Laser Fence project.
