IRIS begins processing field data
IRIS is currently processing all the information obtained during the fieldwork, which took place between late October and early November on the project plots of Aboyne (Scotland), Malpas (England) and Delft (The Netherlands).
From the thermal and visible photographs taken in the field, IRIS generates, using photogrammetric software, a 3D model of the work area. With this 3D model, and the thermal images captured, IRIS is able to identify and position the animals present in the area through their thermal responses. This makes it possible to assess the laser’s effectiveness objectively and precisely.
The company expects to continue taking images in Seville after November 27th.
